Feasibility study with Anadach for the establishment of four new hospitals

Anadach has been selected by the Senegalese Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, with the support of the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), to carry out a feasibility study assessing the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of establishing four new hospitals and deploying 3-5 mobile healthcare vehicles (MHTs) in Senegal.

Baobab Institute provided technical assistance to ANADACH for :

  • Support Anadach's expert market research manager and other colleagues to obtain factual and qualitative information to guide demand and supply forecasting, current and future pricing and payment for health services, identification of catchment areas for project facilities, willingness to pay and other context-specific variables.
  •  Contribute to the basic situational analysis of the Senegalese hospital system (supply and demand).
  • Share with the Anadach team all the necessary inputs for a better understanding of the local health context, health stakeholders and the country's historical and potential political commitments.
  • Facilitate the visit of Anadach experts to Senegal (orientation and accompaniment)
  • Provide technical assistance for a feasibility study for hospital construction.
