Convinced that no development effort is effective without the involvement of women and young people, I remain convinced that improving the health of mothers, children and young people is the key to development in Africa. But this can only be achieved by giving a greater role to local players. That's why throughout my career I've invested in building the capacity of local institutions and civil society to promote local solutions adapted to the local context to address the health of mothers, children and adolescents.
