Launch of 2NIBA
In June 2024, we organized a two (2) day workshop to work on action plans for the operationalization of 2NIBA funds.
For this workshop, we brought together teams from the ministries of health in Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Senegal, the UNFPA representative, the FP2030 representative, the Expand FP representative and the INSPiRE teams.
INSPiRE Annual Meeting
From January 23 to 24, 2024, we took part in the annual meeting organized by the INSPiRE teams. The aim of this meeting was to enable OP countries to build their budgets and plan activities in favor of maternal and child health for the year 2024.
RAPO 2024
Baobab Institute took part in the partnership's annual meeting in Ougadougou, Côte d'Ivoire, from December 11 to 13, 2023. On this occasion, we were able to present 2NIBA to announce the launch of the program and to bring together new local partners.

Le comité de sélection de l’Académie de Santé Publique, l’organe phare de l’Institut de Santé Publique de l’Afrique de l’Ouest, a décerné la Distinguished Fellowship de l’Académie de Santé Publique (DFASP) à Pape Gaye, fondateur du Baobab Institute for Health and Development, en reconnaissance de sa contribution exceptionnelle à la santé publique.
World Health Summit 2022 - Berlin, Germany
Au cours du Sommet mondial de la santé de cette année, l’Institut Baobab a participé à un panel intitulé « Combler la fracture numérique : obtenir un financement plus important et mieux coordonné pour la transformation numérique des systèmes de santé ».
SEMA reproductive health
Le fondateur et président de l’Institut Baobab, Pape Gaye, a soutenu la mise en place de SEMA, une nouvelle initiative visant à aider les pays participants à adopter une approche de marché pour les fournitures de santé reproductive.
Grand Challenges 2022 annual meeting - Brussels, October 23-26
À l’invitation de la Fondation Bill et Melinda Gates, le Baobab Institute a participé cette année à la réunion annuelle des « Grand Challenges » décrite sur son site Web comme « une famille d’initiatives favorisant l’innovation pour résoudre les principaux problèmes mondiaux de santé et de développement ».
